Rule set v4.2, effective 1 February 2026. These terms govern the purchase of an evaluation and the operation of a funded desk account.
Meridian Desk Technologies Ltd sells a fixed-price skill assessment. You are buying access to a simulated trading environment and the right to a profit share if you meet the published objectives. You are not opening a brokerage account, and no order you place reaches a market.
We hold no client money, execute no client orders and give no personalised advice. Nothing on this site is an offer of a regulated investment service.
All accounts are simulated and every balance is virtual. A profit share is a contractual payment from us, not a withdrawal of your own trading profits.
1.1 The assessment
Objectives, drawdown limits and breach conditions are those published in the rule book at the moment you pay. We may change the rule set for future purchases, never retrospectively for one already running.
Read the rule book1.2 The funded desk
Passing both phases entitles you to a funded desk account under the same rule set, and to a profit share of the simulated performance paid on the published cycle.
Payout schedule1.3 What is not included
Training, signals, mentoring and tax advice are not part of the product and are never provided by the desk, in any channel, including our Discord.
The evaluation fee is stated in full before payment and includes every charge we levy. There are no monthly fees, no platform fees, and no charge for a payout.
Capital is at risk. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. You may get back less than you put in.
2.1 When the fee becomes non-refundable
The fee is refundable in full until the first trade is placed on the account. Once a trade is placed the assessment has been consumed, and the fee is non-refundable whatever the outcome.
2.2 Reimbursement is not a refund
The evaluation fee is reimbursed alongside your first payout from the funded desk. That is a payment out to you, not a reversal of the original charge, and it is taxed accordingly.
2.3 Free retries
Where a free retry is offered it replaces the original assessment and carries no separate refund right of its own.
2.4 Chargebacks
Raising a chargeback after trading has begun closes every account you hold with us and forfeits any unpaid profit share. Contact the desk first — we settle a legitimate dispute faster than a card network will.
Contact the deskYou must be 18 or over and resident in a territory we can lawfully sell to. Residency is determined by the address you verify at KYC, not by the address you type at checkout.
Not available to residents of the United States, Canada, or any territory subject to UK, EU, UN or OFAC sanctions.
3.1 The current list
United States, Canada, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Belarus, and the non-government-controlled areas of Ukraine. The list follows sanctions law and changes without notice.
3.2 Registering from a restricted territory
Voids the evaluation without refund. This is not a penalty we choose to apply — we cannot lawfully pay a profit share into a sanctioned jurisdiction.
3.3 One account per person
Multiple accounts, shared accounts, and accounts operated on behalf of somebody else are all breaches, and any profit share arising from them is forfeit.
Government ID and proof of address are verified before a first payout, under our anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing obligations. Payouts are released only to an account in the trader’s own name.
Capital is at risk. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. You may get back less than you put in.
4.1 Prohibited trading
Latency arbitrage, tick scalping, group trading on a shared signal, and any strategy that profits from an artefact of the simulation rather than from a market view. These void the account and any profit share.
